Mock-Up Setup & Documentation
- Is the mock-up representative of the production curtain wall system and details? *
- Are approved shop drawings, the test procedure, and performance criteria on site? *
- Is the testing agency independent and qualified? *
- Are the design pressures and acceptance criteria defined? *
Air Infiltration
- Is air leakage measured at the specified test pressure? *
- Does measured air infiltration meet the specified maximum rate? *
- Are extraneous leakage paths sealed and accounted for? *
Water Penetration Testing
- Is the calibrated spray rack set to the required flow before testing? *
- Is static water penetration tested with a uniform pressure chamber? *
- Is dynamic water penetration tested where specified? *
- Is there no uncontrolled water penetration to the interior at test pressure? *
- Are any leakage locations documented and remediated? *
Structural & Interstory Movement
- Is structural performance verified at design and 1.5x design pressure? *
- Are deflections and permanent set within the allowable limits? *
- Where required, is interstory drift/movement testing performed? *
