Required Inspections Complete
- Have all building, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical final inspections passed? *
- Is the fire department final inspection approved? *
- Are all open permit corrections resolved and re-inspected? *
Life-Safety Systems
- Is the fire sprinkler system tested and accepted? *
- Is the fire alarm system tested and accepted? *
- Are emergency and exit-sign lighting operational? *
- Are fire extinguishers installed and rated for the hazard? *
Egress & Accessibility
- Are all exits unobstructed and exit doors operable from the egress side? *
- Are accessible routes, entrances, and restrooms complete and compliant? *
- Are addresses/building identification posted and visible? *
Utilities & Environment
- Are permanent power, water, and sewer connected and active? *
- Is HVAC operational and balanced? *
- Are carbon monoxide and smoke alarms installed where required? *
Closeout Documentation
- Are required special inspection final reports submitted? *
- Are elevator, backflow, and other third-party certifications on file?
- Is the certificate of occupancy (or temporary CO) issued and posted? *
- CO issuance date
