Submittals & Shop Drawings
- Is a submittal schedule established and being followed? *
- Are shop drawings and product data reviewed for conformance with the design intent? *
- Are review action stamps and returns tracked with dates? *
- Are substitutions evaluated and documented? *
Payments
- Are Applications for Payment reviewed against the schedule of values? *
- Is the architect's Certificate for Payment issued for work observed? *
- Are retainage and stored-material provisions applied correctly? *
- Are conditional/unconditional lien waivers collected with each payment? *
Changes in the Work
- Are change orders and construction change directives documented and signed? *
- Is the contract sum and contract time adjusted and logged for each change? *
- Is a change order log maintained and current? *
Communications & RFIs
- Are RFIs logged, answered, and tracked to closure? *
- Are supplemental instructions (ASI) issued for minor changes not affecting cost/time? *
- Is a current record of correspondence and meeting minutes maintained? *
Site Observation & Claims
- Are site visits conducted at appropriate intervals with field reports? *
- Is nonconforming work identified and rejection documented? *
- Are claims and disputes processed through the Initial Decision Maker? *
